This item describes all firmware and software updates released in February 2008 for Xcalibur Global Management Software and for Chip PC Thin Client devices.

The February 2008 Firmware and Software Updates include the following Components:

Highlights for Client Device Firmware - version 6.5.7
- New! NetBIOS name from DHCP - The device can now recieve its NetBIOS name from DHCP Server using the Standard Option number 12.
- New! Support for moving published application windows to Secondary / Primary screen - New ICA feature enabling published application to be moved between screens when working in Duel Screen mode.
- NEW – Sleep Mode - Added a new energy saving “Sleep Mode” that can be activated via the Stand-By button.
- FIX - optimized support for "Ctrl"+"Alt Gr"+"Del" - The key combination is supported when using Domain Authentication on a device set to German language.
- FIX - optimized ICA graphic perfomance in 24bit color - The graphic performance of ICA has been optimized for 24bit color.
- FIX - optimized duplex printing mode - The option for local duplex printing on the device has been optimized.
Highlights for New and Updated Plug-ins
- ICA: New ICA client version 10 - A new ICA plug-in version 10.
- ICA: Pass-through authentication and Single Sign-on for Citrix Web Interface - Added support for full pass-through authentication in the Citrix Web Interface.
- ICA: Unlimited timeout for PNA logon - Added feature to set the PNA logon timeout to Unlimited.
- ICA: Move published application windows between primary and secondary screens - Added feature that enables pulished application windows to be moved betwwn screens when working in Dual Display mode.
- ICA: Lock Device optimized for pop-up - Device will remain locked when pop-up events occur.
- VNC Viewer - Added feature to run a VNC client/viewer on the Thin Client.
- TouchKit Touch Screen: Support for additional drivers - Added support for additional touch screen controllers.
- Internet Explorer - Alternative URLs can be used when automatically renewing a session.
- Internet Explorer - Refresh every 15 minutes.
- LPD - Optimized performance of the Print / Cancel / Re-print cycle.
- LPD - Added feature enables the LPD plug-in to operate and manage printing tasks even when a user is not logged-on.
