Chip PC Technologies, a technological leader in desktop replacement and thin computing, today announced that it will be introducing its new class of zero clients, specifically designed for the Citrix desktop virtualization solutions, including Citrix XenDesktop®, Citrix XenApp™ and Citrix VDI-in-a-Box™. This revolutionary zero client solution speeds enterprise deployments of Citrix desktop virtualization, and at the same time provides a powerful user experience in a compact, cost-effective and green zero client.
The new Chip PC ZD8541 zero clients offer rapid boot into Citrix Receiver™ with plenty of computing power in a small form factor device to deliver first class user experience. Built on the new Marvell Dove Armada 510 processor, the ZD8541 offers 4 USB 2.0 ports and DVI-I graphics interface supporting dual screen and high resolutions. The new ZD8541 zero clients own a small form factor and consume only 5 Watts at full operating mode.
