Objectives

This is a description of the communication process between the Thin Clients and Xcalibur 3.x management server:

  1. The device boots up and sends an SNMP boot Trap (UDP) to the Xcalibur server using source port ANY, destination port 162 (UDP).
  2. The Xcalibur server sends to the client an SNMP Get command using UDP from source port ANY, destination port 161.
  3. The client responses to the servers using SNMP Response (UDP) source port 161, destination port ANY.

Procedures
