Xcalibur 3.x Across Firewalls
Objectives
This is a description of the communication process between the Thin Clients and Xcalibur 3.x management server:
- The device boots up and sends an SNMP boot Trap (UDP) to the Xcalibur server using source port ANY, destination port 162 (UDP).
- The Xcalibur server sends to the client an SNMP Get command using UDP from source port ANY, destination port 161.
- The client responses to the servers using SNMP Response (UDP) source port 161, destination port ANY.
