The Chip PC image upgrade file follows a fixed pattern to help Administrators understand and manage image upgrade files.

More Information:
Each image file Released by Chip PC is Created for a specific hardware model and the Software OEM Version currently installed on the device.
IMPORTANT! Do not try to modify the upgrade files in any way!! Modifying the original Image upgrade files may render your devices un-operable and will not be covered by the Chip PC Warranty.

Details:
The Image upgrade file naming convention is as follows:
Hardware model/family_New image version_Current image version.image

Examples:
AnEX5000 with Software OEM version 5.0.1 wishing to upgrade to Software OEM version 6.x.x must have
The 50xx_6.x.x_5.0.1.image file
Please note: the compressed image upgrade files are stored on the server in Zip file format following the Same naming convention.
