Objectives

When Viewing device(s) Properties in Xcalibur XP server, some or all intsalled XPIs may be displayed as "Unkown".

Procedure

Cause:
The Supporting files were not installed on Xcalibur XP server.

More Information:
By using the Chip PC Installer to extract new XPIs to the Xcalibur Xp server, The required supporting files are introduced into the system and allow remote support.

Resolution:
Install the supporting files to Xcalibur XP server using the Chip PC Installer option "Install Plug-In on Xcalibur".

To refresh the Xcalibur XP interface after installing new XPI files to Xcalibur, Press F12 or exit and re-open Xcalibur XP interface.
