More Information:
The Web-Based Administration Feature is enabled b default and supports two type of authentication:
Basic - Device based: the device maintains the user list and performs the authentication against its own security features.
NTLM - Domain Authentication: the device only hold the list of domain users allowed log-in; any authentication is performed using standard Domain Authentication (NTLM).

To add additional users using Basic Authentication:
Enter the username(s) to be allowed access to the device, separate the names using a semi-colon ";"
Please note:

  • All users using this method share the same password.
  • This is the default method of authentication.

To Configure NTLM Authentication:

  1. Go to the Device Admin tab under the F2 environment.
  2. Click to select NTLM Authentication.
  3. In the Domain name field enter the required information.
  4. In the user list enter the domain Logon names of Domain users, allowed to access the device using the Web-based administration, separated by a semi-colon.
Please note: only users specified in this list will be allowed access.
